Thursday, 13 Rabi' al-Thani 1448 - 24 September 2026 *His Eminence the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Head of the Council of Senior Scholars, and General President of Scholarly Research and Ifta, Dr. Saleh bin Fawzan bin Abdullah Al-Fawzan, addressed a statement to those stationed on the frontiers and to the Coalition forces, the text of which follows:* Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and the good end is for the righteous, and there is no aggression except against the oppressors. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, without partner, the deity of the ancients and the later generations, the Sustainer of the heavens and the earths. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant, His messenger, His close friend, and the trustee of His revelation; may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, his family, and his companions, with abundant peace until the Day of Judgment. As for what follows: Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has bestowed upon us this upright religion (Islam). Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, said: (And strive for Allah with the endeavor due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. He named you Muslims before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to Allah. He is your protector; and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper) Al-Hajj: 78. Furthermore, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has bestowed upon us in this good and blessed country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the gathering of words and the unity of rank around our rulers—may Allah support them. Among the greatest favors of Allah upon the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is that He established it upon the Book of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, and the Sunnah of His Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and that He honored it with serving the Two Holy Mosques, the Ancient House and the Mosque of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. Thus, the Two Holy Mosques received service and care unprecedented since the Rightly-Guided Caliphate. Preserving this great entity, stationing guards on its borders, repelling aggression from it, and punishing anyone who seeks to touch an inch of it became among the greatest duties and best deeds of devotion, for which lives and souls are sacrificed seeking the pleasure of Allah. Especially so, as this great homeland embraces the holy sites of Muslims, and in its sacred shrines a great pillar of the pillars of Islam (Hajj) and a great ritual of its rituals (Umrah) are performed. We advise our stationed sons to exercise patience, perseverance, and steadfast border-guarding. Allah the Exalted has indeed singled you out with tremendous virtue and immense reward. Allah the Exalted said: (O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed and fear Allah that you may be successful) Al-Imran: 200. And he, peace and blessings be upon him, said in what has been authentically reported from him: "Guarding the border for a day in the cause of Allah is better than the world and whatever is upon it." The virtues of the border-guard and the merits he is uniquely granted are exceedingly great. It has been authentically reported from him, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that he said: "Guarding the border for a day and a night is better than fasting and praying during the night of a month. And if he dies, his deed which he used to do continues to be credited to him, his provision is granted to him, and he is saved from the tormentor of the grave." And he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Every deceased person has their deeds sealed except the border-guard, for his deed grows for him until the Day of Resurrection, and he is secured from the trial of the grave." And he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Two eyes will not be touched by the Fire: an eye that wept from the fear of Allah, and an eye that spent the night guarding in the cause of Allah." Those are great virtues and rewards for the border-guard: (So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment) At-Tawbah: 111. Among that which is obligatory—O stationed brothers—is that you remain constantly prepared to perform your duty, to hear and obey the rulers and your field commanders, and to execute orders with utter perfection; just as Allah, Mighty and Majestic, commanded the companions of His Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, when the Exalted said: (And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not dispute and [thus] lose courage and [then] your strength would depart; and be patient. Indeed, Allah is with the patient) Al-Anfal: 46. You are walking in the footsteps of the companions of His Prophet, defending the holy sites of Muslims and raising the banner of Tawhid. Furthermore, we extend greetings and appreciation to our brothers in the Coalition forces, for you are guarding a great frontier and engaged in an honorable, noble mission. Therefore, hold fast to the rope of Allah, unite your ranks, obey one another, and unify your word in compliance with the words of your Lord: (And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided) Al-Imran: 103. Know that you are fighting an enemy that has spread corruption in the lands, divided the people, rebelled against its rulers, and sought evil against the holy sites of Muslims; but Allah the Exalted is watching over them. That is the Houthi group, the gang of evil and the intrigue of enemies, which was founded upon corruption in creed and corruption in methodology. It rebelled against its rulers in successive seditions over many long years until it divided the country and the people. So stand as one rank against this stray faction and deviant group that declares the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, to be disbelievers, deems the blood of Muslims permissible to shed, and violates their mosques with demolition and destruction. Restoring security and stability to Yemen under its legitimate leadership is among the most obligatory duties, so that our Yemeni brothers may live in safety, security, prosperity, and stability, and that their state may stand alongside the rest of the Islamic world's states in resurgence, development, and cohesion. Allah is your Supporter and Helper, so put your trust in Him: (If Allah should aid you, no one can overcome you; but if He should forsake you, who is there that can aid you after Him? And upon Allah let the believers rely) Al-Imran: 160. We ask Allah the Exalted to extend His help to you all, and to protect our country and dear Yemen from every evil. We also ask Him, Glorified is He, to uproot the Houthi group and those who aid and support them. Indeed, He is the Guardian of that and Capable of it. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. *وجه سماحة المفتي العام للمملكة العربية السعودية رئيس هيئة كبار العلماء والرئيس العام للبحوث العلمية والإفتاء الدكتور صالح بن فوزان بن عبدالله الفوزان، بيانًا للمرابطين ولقوات التحالف، فيما يلي نصه:*
الحمد للّه رب العالمين، والعاقبة للمتقين، ولا عدوان إلا على الظالمين، وأشهد أن لا إله إلا اللّه وحده لا شريك له، إله الأولين والآخرين، وقيوم السموات والأرضين، وأشهد أن محمدًا عبده ورسوله وخليله وأمينه على وحيه، صلى اللّه عليه وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم تسليمًا كثيرًا إلى يوم الدين، أما بعد:
فإن اللّه عز وجل مَنَّ علينا بهذا الدين القويم (الإسلام) قال اللّه سبحانه وتعالى: (وَجاهِدوا فِي اللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهادِهِ هُوَ اجتَباكُم وَما جَعَلَ عَلَيكُم فِي الدّينِ مِن حَرَجٍ مِلَّةَ أَبيكُم إِبراهيمَ هُوَ سَمّاكُمُ المُسلِمينَ مِن قَبلُ وَفي هذا لِيَكونَ الرَّسولُ شَهيدًا عَلَيكُم وَتَكونوا شُهَداءَ عَلَى النّاسِ فَأَقيمُوا الصَّلاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكاةَ وَاعتَصِموا بِاللَّهِ هُوَ مَولاكُم فَنِعمَ المَولى وَنِعمَ النَّصيرُ) الحج: 78، ثم إن اللّه عز وجل منَّ علينا في هذه البلاد الطيبة المباركة المملكة العربية السعودية باجتماع الكلمة، ووحدة الصف، حول ولاة أمرنا -أيدهم اللّه-.
ومن مِنن اللّه الكبرى على المملكة العربية السعودية أن أقامها على كتاب اللّه عز وجل وسنة رسوله صلى اللّه عليه وسلم، وأن شرّفها بخدمة الحرمين الشريفين، البيت العتيق، ومسجد رسول اللّه صلى اللّه عليه وسلم، فحصل للحرمين الشريفين من الخدمة والرعاية ما لم يسبق له مثيل منذ الخلافة الراشدة. فكان الحفاظ على هذا الكيان العظيم، والمرابطة على حدوده، وصد العدوان عنه، ومعاقبة كل من يريد مسَّ شبر منه، من أعظم الواجبات، وأفضل القربات، ومما تبذل فيه المُهج والأنفس ابتغاء مرضاة اللّه، لا سيما وهذا الوطن العظيم يحتضن مقدسات المسلمين، ويُقام في مشاعره ركن عظيم من أركان الإسلام (الحج)، وشعيرة من شعائره العظام (العمرة).
فنوصي أبناءنا المرابطين، بالصبر والمصابرة والمرابطة، فلقد اختصكم اللّه تعالى بفضل أيّما فضل، وأجر أيّما أجر، قال الله تعالى: (يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنُوا اصبِروا وَصابِروا وَرابِطوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُم تُفلِحونَ) آل عمران: 200، وقال عليه الصلاة والسلام فيما صح عنه: "رباط يوم في سبيل اللّه خير من الدنيا وما عليها".
وفضائل المرابط وما يختصُ به من المزايا عظيمة جدًا ، فقد صح عنه صلى اللّه عليه وسلم أنه قال: "رباط يوم وليلة خير من صيام شهر وقيامه، وإن مات جرى عليه عمله الذي كان يعمله، وأجري عليه رزقه، وأمن الفتَّان ". وقال عليه الصلاة والسلام: "كل ميّت يُختم على عمله إلا المرابط، فإنه ينمو له عمله إلى يوم القيامة، ويُومِّن من فتَّان القبر". وقال عليه الصلاة والسلام: "عينان لا تمسهما النار عين بكت من خشية الله، وعين باتت تحرس في سبيل اللّه". وتلك فضائل وأجور عظيمة للمرابط: (فَاستَبشِروا بِبَيعِكُمُ الَّذي بايَعتُم بِهِ وَذلِكَ هُوَ الفَوزُ العَظيمُ) التوبة: 111.
وإن مما يجب -أيها الأخوة المرابطون- أن تكونوا على استعداد دائم للقيام بالواجب، والسمع والطاعة لولاة الأمر، ولقياداتكم في الميدان، وتنفيذ الأوامر بكل إتقان؛ كما أمر اللّه عز وجل صحابة نبيه صلى اللّه عليه وسلم بذلك، فقال تعالى: (وَأَطيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسولَهُ وَلا تَنازَعوا فَتَفشَلوا وَتَذهَبَ ريحُكُم وَاصبِروا إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصّابِرينَ) الأنفال: 46، وأنتم على خطى صحابة نبيه، تدافعون عن مقدسات المسلمين، وترفعون راية التوحيد.
هذا ونتوجّه إلى إخواننا من قوات التحالف بالتحية والتقدير، فإنكم على ثغر عظيم، وفي مهمة شريفة جليلة، فاعتصموا بحبل الله، وحدوا صفوفكم، وتطاوعوا فيما بينكم، واجمعوا كلمتكم امتثالًا لقول ربكم: (وَاعتَصِموا بِحَبلِ اللَّهِ جَميعًا وَلا تَفَرَّقوا) آل عمران: 103، واعلموا أنكم تقاتلون عدوًا، قد أفسد في البلاد، وفرَّق العباد، وخرج على ولاة أمره، ورام شرًا بمقدسات المسلمين؛ ولكنّ اللّه تعالى لهم بالمرصاد.
تلكم جماعة الحوثي، عصابة الشر، ودسيسة الأعداء، التي قامت على فساد في العقيدة، وفساد في المنهج، فخرجت على ولاة أمرها، في فتن متتابعة طوال سنوات كثيرة؛ حتى فرَّقت البلاد والعباد، فكونوا صفًا واحدًا تجاه هذه الفرقة الضالة، والجماعة المنحرفة، التي تكفر صحابة النبي صلى اللّه عليه وسلم، وتستحل دماء المسلمين، وتستبيح مساجدهم بالهدم والتدمير.
إن إعادة الأمن والاستقرار في اليمن في ظل قيادته الشرعية من أوجب الواجبات، حتى يعيش إخواننا اليمنيون في أمن وأمان، ورخاء واستقرار، وتكون دولتهم مع بقية دول العالم الإسلامي، في نهضة وتنمية، وتماسك.
والله ناصركم ومؤيدكم فتوكلوا عليه: (إِن يَنصُركُمُ اللَّهُ فَلا غالِبَ لَكُم وَإِن يَخذُلكُم فَمَن ذَا الَّذي يَنصُرُكُم مِن بَعدِهِ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَليَتَوَكَّلِ المُؤمِنونَ) آل عمران: 160.
نسأل اللّه تعالى أن يُمدكم جميعًا بعونه، وأن يحفظ بلادنا، واليمن العزيز من كل شر، كما نسأله سبحانه أن يقطع دابر جماعة الحوثي، ومن يساعدهم ويشايعهم. إنه ولي ذلك والقادر عليه، والحمد لله رب العالمين.
