Updates from the West Coast, Taiz, and Marib (Detailed) Military clashes continue within Operation Dawn of Yemen across several fronts as the operation enters its eighth day, Monday, amid escalating battles in Taiz Governorate and the intensification of airstrikes and artillery shelling against positions, gatherings, and reinforcements of the Houthi militia, in conjunction with the continuation of military operations in Marib, Al-Jawf, and the West Coast. The Armed Forces, backed by the popular resistance, announced the thwarting of two Houthi attacks on the Al-Dhabab front west of Taiz city and Al-Aqroudh south of the governorate, while field sources reported the recapture of new positions in Al-Dhabab, coinciding with airstrikes targeting gatherings and military vehicles of the Houthis in several areas. In Marib Governorate, the Armed Forces, backed by tribesmen, achieved field progress by regaining control over the areas of Zajar and Al-Hajla in the Harib Bayhan district, while the official spokesman, Colonel Staff Majid Al-Nuzaili, announced the execution of 1,879 precise and direct targeting operations against Houthi military targets, which resulted, according to initial estimates, in the neutralization of around 950 operatives and the destruction and disabling of 380 military vehicles, transports, and equipment. Taiz: Thwarting of Two Houthi Attacks and Airstrikes on Militia Positions The media center of the Taiz Axis announced on Monday that the Armed Forces, backed by the popular resistance, thwarted two separate attacks launched by the Houthi militia on the Al-Dhabab front west of the city and Al-Aqroudh south of the governorate, forcing them to retreat and inflicting personnel and material losses on them, including burning military vehicles. It explained, in a field update, that clashes are still ongoing on the Al-Dhabab front and various fronts surrounding the city, in conjunction with continuing to carry out ambushes against the militia's operatives, vehicles, and equipment. It indicated that warplanes launched, on Monday morning, a series of airstrikes targeting Houthi positions on Tabat al-Khalwah, al-Tabbah al-Sawda, and Tabat al-Kurbah on the Al-Dhabab front. In another field update, the Taiz Axis reported intensifying battles between the forces and the popular resistance on the one hand and the Houthi militia on the other, on the Al-Dhabab front west of the city and the Al-Aqroudh and Al-Shaqab fronts south of the governorate. Warplanes also carried out four airstrikes on gatherings, weapons, and equipment of the militia in the Maylat area in Al-Dhabab, resulting in the destruction of a 23mm anti-aircraft gun, a 106mm cannon, and a tank, as well as dead and wounded among the Houthis. Field sources reported that government forces regained control over the hills of Al-Muqbaba, Al-Khazzan, and Al-Hamra on the Al-Dhabab front west of Taiz city, as part of operations aimed at containing Houthi advance attempts and securing military positions. Clashes in Al-Misrakh and Al-Aqroudh and Infiltration Attempts The southern countryside of Taiz witnessed violent clashes, especially in Al-Misrakh district and the areas of Taluq and Sailat Taluq, following Houthi infiltration attempts from the direction of Najd Qaseem. Field information indicated that the forces and the popular resistance carried out ambushes against the militias, resulting in dead and wounded among their ranks, and forced some of them to withdraw. On the Al-Aqroudh front, the forces announced the recapture of positions that the militia had taken control of during the previous hours, in addition to recapturing the hills of Mahyoub Thabit and Watheeb and the Al-Furqan school in Al-Dhunayb village, according to military information coming from the front. These positions gain field importance due to their connection to the road network linking Taiz city to its southern countryside, while the Houthi advance in the Najd Qaseem area increases the sensitivity of the clashes, given its location on a main road serving a number of the governorate's districts. As for the Al-Dhabab front, field information indicated that government forces consolidated their positions on Mount Han, with clashes continuing on the outskirts of the area and ambushes being carried out against Houthi groups. These developments come amid military reports of the Houthis tightening their siege on Taiz city, following their control over parts of Al-Misrakh district and the Najd Qaseem area and imposing their fire control over the Wadi Al-Dhabab road, the southwestern entrance to the city. Military sources also reported dozens of dead and wounded among the Houthis as a result of airstrikes and clashes with government forces in Taiz during the past 24 hours. Marib: Liberation of Zajar and Al-Hajla and Targeting of Houthi Positions In Marib Governorate, the Armed Forces, backed by tribesmen, achieved field progress by regaining control over the areas of Zajar and Al-Hajla in the Harib Bayhan district, as part of military operations aimed at securing the southeast of the governorate. Field sources reported that the forces recaptured the two strategic areas, located on the vital supply line linking Harib and Al-Abdiyah district, following fierce battles during which the Houthi militia suffered personnel and material losses. The sources warned of the challenges facing the advancing forces, chief among them the density of landmines and improvised explosive devices planted by the militia in the recaptured areas, posing a direct threat to forces and civilians alike. Consequently, field leaderships issued an urgent appeal to the competent authorities and military engineering teams, demanding the rapid dispatch of specialized teams to clear the areas, remove landmines, ensure their securing, and pave the way for the continuation of military operations. The Giants Brigades and the Saba Axis, backed by tribesmen, had succeeded in liberating Harib district and its center in January 2022, while the recapture of Zajar and Al-Hajla completes control over the remaining areas in the district, according to field sources. For its part, the Armed Forces Media Center announced the continuation of military operations against the Houthi militia within the theater of operations of the Seventh Military Region on the northern fronts of Marib, as part of Operation Dawn of Yemen. The center affirmed that the forces are engaged in direct and continuous battles with the militia and are targeting its military capabilities via warplanes, drones, artillery, and rocket launchers. Military sources also reported that the Armed Forces targeted Houthi positions and vehicles on the southern and southwestern fronts of Marib using artillery and drones, coinciding with airstrikes on barracks and depots belonging to the militia. Military sources in the Third Military Region reported that the strikes resulted in the destruction and disabling of combat vehicles and the targeting of a Houthi artillery emplacement, leading to the destruction of the cannon and the killing of its crew, in addition to dead and wounded among the ranks of the militia. In contrast, government forces announced the martyrdom of three of their personnel and the injury of others during clashes on the governorate's fronts. The West Coast: Clashes around Bab al-Mandab and Warnings of Landmines Along the West Coast, the Giants Brigades and the Homeland Shield Forces continue to consolidate their positions in Dhubab and the perimeter of Bab al-Mandab, amid clashes with Houthi gatherings that are still entrenched in small pockets and positions, taking advantage of landmines, the terrain, and hills overlooking the strait. The Armed Forces had announced over the past days achieving field gains in the coastal axes, coinciding with securing elevated positions in Kahbub and expanding pressure on Houthi gatherings; however, continuing clashes in some pockets necessitate continuing sweeping operations and consolidating positions, in light of the risks arising from landmines that impede troop movement. In Lahj Governorate, sources reported martyrs and wounded among the Armed Forces as a result of Houthi missile attacks targeting military positions in the coastal Ras al-Ara area. Fierce battles also broke out between the Giants Brigades forces and the Subaiha tribes on the one hand and the Houthi militia on the other in Al-Madaribah district, following Houthi attempts to advance toward the coast and cut the supply lines leading to the Kahbub and Bab al-Mandab fronts. A local source stated that drone aircraft bombed a weapons depot belonging to the Houthi militia on the Al-Aghabirah front located between Lahj and Taiz, amid rising flames. Al-Jawf: Continuation of Airstrikes and Artillery Strikes In Al-Jawf Governorate, aerial and artillery operations and drone attacks continued against positions, fortifications, command centers, and weapons depots belonging to the Houthi militia, according to military communiqués. These operations fall within the simultaneous military moves on several fronts, aiming to target the militia's combat capabilities and disrupt supply lines and command and control centers. Execution of 1,879 Targeting Operations and Neutralization of Around 950 Houthis In a new field tally, the Armed Forces announced the execution of 1,879 precise and direct targeting operations against military targets belonging to the Iranian-regime-backed Houthi militia, using warplanes, drones, field artillery, rocket launchers, and sniper units, as part of Operation Dawn of Yemen.
The official spokesman for the Armed Forces, Colonel Staff Majid Al-Nuzaili, explained in a statement that the operations resulted, according to initial estimates, in the neutralization of around 950 operatives of the militia, and the destruction and disabling of 380 military vehicles, transports, and equipment, alongside silencing hostile fire sources and disrupting the command, control, and supply systems. Al-Nuzaili pointed out that the strikes hit the Houthi combat system, including fortifications, defensive positions, command and control centers, artillery and launcher emplacements, observation and reconnaissance points, mobilization and reinforcement areas, weapons and ammunition depots, and vehicles and transport and supply means. He added that the airstrikes in Taiz targeted the militia's reinforcements and convoys heading to the fronts, dispersed their gatherings, and disrupted their attempts to support their positions and reorganize their forces. He affirmed that the operations were carried out, according to the statement, in a manner that respects the rules of international humanitarian law and the principles of distinction, proportionality, and taking necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian objects. He also noted that military engineering units continue to clear recaptured sites and areas of landmines and improvised explosive devices, securing them for the advance of the forces and the return of citizens. وأعلنت القوات المسلحة، مسنودة بالمقاومة الشعبية، إحباط هجومين حوثيين في جبهتي الضباب غربي مدينة تعز، والأقروض جنوب المحافظة، فيما أفادت مصادر ميدانية باستعادة مواقع جديدة في الضباب، بالتزامن مع غارات جوية استهدفت تجمعات وآليات عسكرية للحوثيين في عدة مناطق.
وفي محافظة مأرب، حققت القوات المسلحة، بإسناد من رجال القبائل، تقدماً ميدانياً باستعادة السيطرة على منطقتي زجار والحجلى في مديرية حريب بيحان، بينما أعلن المتحدث الرسمي العقيد الركن ماجد النزيلي، تنفيذ 1879 عملية استهداف دقيقة ومباشرة ضد أهداف عسكرية حوثية، أسفرت، وفق التقديرات الأولية، عن تحييد نحو 950 عنصراً وتدمير وإعطاب 380 آلية وعربة ووسيلة عسكرية.
تعز.. إحباط هجومين حوثيين وغارات جوية على مواقع المليشيا
أعلن المركز الإعلامي لمحور تعز، الاثنين، أن القوات المسلحة، مسنودة بالمقاومة الشعبية، أحبطت هجومين منفصلين شنتهما مليشيا الحوثي في جبهتي الضباب غرب المدينة، والأقروض جنوب المحافظة، وأجبرتها على التراجع، مكبدة إياها خسائر بشرية ومادية، بينها احتراق آليات عسكرية.
وأوضح، في تحديث ميداني، أن المواجهات لا تزال مستمرة في جبهة الضباب ومختلف الجبهات المحيطة بالمدينة، بالتزامن مع استمرار تنفيذ الكمائن ضد عناصر المليشيا وآلياتها ومعداتها.
وأشار إلى أن الطيران الحربي شن، صباح الاثنين، سلسلة غارات استهدفت مواقع حوثية في تبة الخلوة والتبة السوداء وتبة الكربة بجبهة الضباب.
وفي تحديث ميداني آخر، أفاد محور تعز باشتداد المعارك بين القوات والمقاومة الشعبية من جهة، ومليشيا الحوثي من جهة أخرى، في جبهة الضباب غربي المدينة، وجبهتي الأقروض والشقب جنوب المحافظة.
كما نفذ الطيران الحربي أربع غارات على تجمعات وأسلحة وعتاد للمليشيا في منطقة ميلات بالضباب، أسفرت عن تدمير مدفع عيار 23 ملم وآخر عيار 106 ملم ودبابة، وسقوط قتلى وجرحى في صفوف الحوثيين.
وأفادت مصادر ميدانية باستعادة القوات الحكومية السيطرة على تلال المقبابة والخزان والحمراء في جبهة الضباب غربي مدينة تعز، في إطار العمليات الرامية إلى احتواء محاولات التقدم الحوثية وتثبيت المواقع العسكرية.
مواجهات المسراخ والأقروض ومحاولات التسلل
وشهد الريف الجنوبي لتعز مواجهات عنيفة، خصوصاً في مديرية المسراخ ومنطقتي طالوق وسائلة طالوق، عقب محاولات تسلل حوثية من اتجاه نجد قسيم.
وأفادت معلومات ميدانية بأن القوات والمقاومة الشعبية نفذت كمائن ضد المليشيات، أسفرت عن سقوط قتلى وجرحى في صفوفها، وأجبرت بعضهم على الانسحاب.
وفي جبهة الأقروض، أعلنت القوات استعادة مواقع كانت المليشيا قد سيطرت عليها خلال الساعات السابقة، إلى جانب استعادة تلتي مهيوب ثابت ووثيب ومدرسة الفرقان في قرية الذنيب، وفق المعلومات العسكرية الواردة من الجبهة.
وتكتسب هذه المواقع أهمية ميدانية لارتباطها بشبكة الطرق التي تصل مدينة تعز بريفها الجنوبي، فيما يزيد التقدم الحوثي في منطقة نجد قسيم من حساسية المواجهات، نظراً إلى موقعها على طريق رئيسي يخدم عدداً من مديريات المحافظة.
أما في جبهة الضباب، فأفادت المعلومات الميدانية بأن القوات الحكومية ثبتت مواقعها في جبل هان، مع استمرار الاشتباكات في أطراف المنطقة وتنفيذ كمائن ضد مجموعات حوثية.
وتأتي هذه التطورات في ظل تقارير عسكرية عن تشديد الحوثيين حصارهم على مدينة تعز، عقب سيطرتهم على أجزاء من مديرية المسراخ ومنطقة نجد قسيم، وفرض سيطرتهم النارية على خط وادي الضباب، المدخل الجنوبي الغربي للمدينة.
كما أفادت مصادر عسكرية بسقوط عشرات القتلى والجرحى من الحوثيين، جراء الغارات الجوية والمواجهات مع القوات الحكومية في تعز خلال الساعات الأربع والعشرين الماضية.
مأرب.. تحرير زجار والحجلى واستهداف مواقع الحوثيين
وفي محافظة مأرب، حققت القوات المسلحة، مسنودة برجال القبائل، تقدماً ميدانياً باستعادة السيطرة على منطقتي زجار والحجلى في مديرية حريب بيحان، ضمن العمليات العسكرية الرامية إلى تأمين الجنوب الشرقي للمحافظة.
وأفادت مصادر ميدانية بأن القوات استعادت المنطقتين الاستراتيجيتين، الواقعتين على خط الإمداد الحيوي الرابط بين حريب ومديرية العبدية، عقب معارك ضارية تكبدت خلالها مليشيا الحوثي خسائر بشرية ومادية.
وحذرت المصادر من التحديات التي تواجه القوات المتقدمة، وفي مقدمتها كثافة الألغام والعبوات الناسفة التي زرعتها المليشيا في المناطق المستعادة، بما يشكل تهديداً مباشراً للقوات والمدنيين على حد سواء.
وعلى إثر ذلك، وجهت القيادات الميدانية نداءً عاجلاً إلى الجهات المختصة وفرق الهندسة العسكرية، طالبت فيه بسرعة إرسال فرق متخصصة لتطهير المناطق ونزع الألغام، وضمان تأمينها وتمهيد الطريق أمام استمرار العمليات العسكرية.
وكانت ألوية العمالقة ومحور سبأ، بإسناد من أبناء القبائل، قد نجحت في تحرير مديرية حريب ومركزها في يناير 2022، فيما تأتي استعادة زجار والحجلى لتكمل السيطرة على المناطق المتبقية في المديرية، وفق المصادر الميدانية.
من جانبه، أعلن المركز الإعلامي للقوات المسلحة استمرار العمليات العسكرية ضد مليشيا الحوثي، في نطاق مسرح عمليات المنطقة العسكرية السابعة بجبهات شمالي مأرب، ضمن عملية «فجر اليمن».
وأكد المركز أن القوات تخوض معارك مباشرة ومستمرة مع المليشيا، وتستهدف قدراتها العسكرية عبر الطيران الحربي والطيران المسير والمدفعية وراجمات الصواريخ.
كما أفادت مصادر عسكرية بأن القوات المسلحة استهدفت مواقع وآليات حوثية في الجبهتين الجنوبية والجنوبية الغربية من مأرب، باستخدام المدفعية والطيران المسير، بالتزامن مع غارات جوية على ثكنات ومخازن تابعة للمليشيا.
ونقلت مصادر عسكرية في المنطقة العسكرية الثالثة أن الضربات أسفرت عن تدمير وإعطاب آليات قتالية واستهداف مربض مدفعية حوثي، ما أدى إلى تدمير المدفع ومقتل طاقمه، فضلاً عن سقوط قتلى وجرحى في صفوف المليشيا.
وفي المقابل، أعلنت القوات الحكومية استشهاد ثلاثة من أفرادها وإصابة آخرين خلال المواجهات في جبهات المحافظة.
الساحل الغربي.. مواجهات في محيط باب المندب وتحذيرات من الألغام
وعلى امتداد الساحل الغربي، تواصل ألوية العمالقة وقوات درع الوطن تثبيت مواقعها في ذو باب ومحيط باب المندب، وسط مواجهات مع تجمعات حوثية لا تزال تتحصن في جيوب ومواقع صغيرة، مستفيدة من الألغام والتضاريس والتلال المطلة على المضيق.
وكانت القوات المسلحة قد أعلنت خلال الأيام الماضية تحقيق مكاسب ميدانية في محاور الساحل، بالتزامن مع تأمين مواقع مرتفعة في كهبوب وتوسيع الضغط على تجمعات الحوثيين.
غير أن استمرار الاشتباكات في بعض الجيوب يفرض مواصلة عمليات التمشيط وتثبيت المواقع، في ظل المخاطر الناجمة عن الألغام التي تعوق حركة القوات.
وفي محافظة لحج، أفادت مصادر بسقوط شهداء وجرحى من القوات المسلحة جراء هجمات صاروخية حوثية استهدفت مواقع عسكرية في منطقة رأس العارة الساحلية.
كما اندلعت معارك عنيفة بين قوات ألوية العمالقة وقبائل الصبيحة من جهة، ومليشيا الحوثي من جهة أخرى، في مديرية المضاربة، إثر محاولات حوثية للتقدم باتجاه الساحل وقطع خطوط الإمداد المؤدية إلى جبهتي كهبوب وباب المندب.
وذكر مصدر محلي أن الطيران المسيّر قصف مخزن أسلحة تابعًا لمليشيا الحوثي في جبهة الأغابرة الواقعة بين لحج وتعز وسط تصاعد ألسنة النيران.
الجوف.. استمرار الضربات الجوية والمدفعية
وفي محافظة الجوف، تواصلت العمليات الجوية والمدفعية وهجمات الطائرات المسيرة ضد مواقع وتحصينات ومراكز قيادة ومخازن أسلحة تابعة لمليشيا الحوثي، وفق البيانات العسكرية.
وتندرج هذه العمليات ضمن التحركات العسكرية المتزامنة على عدة جبهات، بهدف استهداف القدرات القتالية للمليشيا وتعطيل خطوط الإمداد ومراكز القيادة والسيطرة.
تنفيذ 1879 عملية استهداف وتحييد نحو 950 حوثياً
وفي حصيلة ميدانية جديدة، أعلنت القوات المسلحة تنفيذ 1879 عملية استهداف دقيقة ومباشرة ضد أهداف عسكرية تابعة لمليشيا الحوثي المدعومة من النظام الإيراني، باستخدام الطيران الحربي والطيران المسير ومدفعية الميدان والراجمات ووحدات القناصة، ضمن عملية «فجر اليمن».
وأوضح الناطق الرسمي باسم القوات المسلحة العقيد الركن ماجد النزيلي، في بيان، أن العمليات أسفرت، وفق التقديرات الأولية، عن تحييد نحو 950 عنصراً من المليشيا، وتدمير وإعطاب 380 آلية وعربة ووسيلة عسكرية، إلى جانب إسكات مصادر نيران معادية وإرباك منظومة القيادة والسيطرة والإمداد.
وأشار النزيلي إلى أن الاستهدافات طالت منظومة القتال الحوثية، بما في ذلك التحصينات والمواقع الدفاعية، ومراكز القيادة والسيطرة، ومرابض المدفعية والراجمات، ونقاط المراقبة والاستطلاع، ومناطق الحشد والتعزيز، ومخازن الأسلحة والذخائر، والآليات ووسائط النقل والإمداد.
وأضاف أن الضربات الجوية في تعز استهدفت تعزيزات المليشيا وأرتالها المتجهة إلى الجبهات، وشتتت تجمعاتها وعطلت محاولاتها لإسناد مواقعها وإعادة تنظيم قواتها.
وأكد أن العمليات نُفذت، وفق البيان، بما يراعي قواعد القانون الدولي الإنساني ومبادئ التمييز والتناسب واتخاذ الاحتياطات اللازمة لحماية المدنيين والأعيان المدنية.
كما أشار إلى استمرار وحدات الهندسة العسكرية في تطهير المواقع والمناطق المستعادة من الألغام والعبوات الناسفة، وتأمينها أمام تقدم القوات وعودة المواطنين.
وتأتي هذه الحصيلة المعلنة في وقت تتوزع فيه المواجهات على جبهات متعددة، من أرياف تعز إلى جنوب مأرب وغربها، مروراً بالساحل الغربي والجوف، وسط استمرار العمليات العسكرية الرامية إلى تحقيق تقدمات عسكرية وإحباط الهجمات الحوثية واستعادة المواقع التي شهدت تغيراً في خطوط التماس.
