Destruction of 3 ballistic missiles toward Riyadh and Khamis Mushait * Extension of the suspension of operational activities at King Khalid Airport The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced on Monday the interception and destruction of a ballistic missile launched by the terrorist Houthi militia toward the city of Riyadh and two others toward Khamis Mushait Governorate. The "Saudi Civil Aviation Authority" revealed an extension of the suspension of operational activities at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh to complete the necessary measures to verify the safety of airport facilities and their operational readiness in coordination with the competent authorities. The extension came following the assault launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militias that targeted passenger terminal "4", which resulted in the death of a Pakistani resident and the injury of 11 others, and Saturday afternoon's assault which resulted in the death of 12 people and the injury of 309 of various nationalities, in addition to material damage that is being assessed. The authority explained, in a statement issued Monday, that the extension of the suspension comes to complete the verification of the facilities' safety and readiness following the assault witnessed by the terminal and the resulting fire and damage, while the concerned authorities continue assessment procedures and dealing with the repercussions of the incident.
