*Presidential Advisor Abdulmalik al-Mikhlafi writes: The Houthi must start thinking now about his exit from Taiz, not his entry into more of its villages* Taiz did not learn resistance today, nor has it ever relied on anyone to defend itself. Since 2015, it chose to resist the Houthi militia in defense of freedom and the republic, and it will continue to resist no matter how severe the siege becomes or how delayed the support is. A village or a position may be taken, but Taiz will not surrender and will not be broken.

Some areas of Taiz fell temporarily, not because its people were incapable of resistance, but because they were left alone to face the Houthi militia amid a shortage of weapons and ammunition and abandonment. But the land that resisted for years will not accept occupation, and Taiz asks for nothing more than what enables its sons to defend their history, their families, their dignity, and the republic.

The villages that the Houthi entered will not surrender to him; their night and day will turn into a flame of resistance, and their sons, youth, and diverse factions will stand as one rank against him. For this is a land that rejects the imamate and the invaders, and its people are steadfast in their right to life, freedom, and the republic, rejecting the rule of the militia and rejecting everything imposed upon them by force of arms. **
We call upon our brothers in the Arab Coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to continue standing with the people of Taiz, its forces, its resistance, and its political components, and to provide all forms of support and backing needed in this battle to protect citizens, defeat the Houthi militia, restore the state and the republic, achieve security for Yemen, the Kingdom, and the region, and preserve the security of international navigation.

The Houthi must start thinking now about his exit from Taiz, not about entering more of its villages and areas. What he may see today as an advance will not change the reality that Taiz will not accept him, and that the price of his exit from it will be multiple times what he paid to enter some of its areas. Taiz may lose a position, but it does not lose its will, and it will never be a stable land for the imamate militia.

The speech of President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi today is the declaration of a new phase: from readiness to liberation, and from awaiting peace to restoring the state—a battle whose objective is for the land to return to the republic, the weapons to the state, and the citizen to their rights and security.

تعز لم تتعلم المقاومة اليوم، ولم تعتمد يومًا على أحد كي تدافع عن نفسها. منذ عام 2015 اختارت مقاومة ميليشيا الحوثي دفاعًا عن الحرية والجمهورية، وستظل تقاوم مهما اشتد الحصار أو تأخر الدعم. قد تُؤخذ قرية أو موقع، لكن تعز لن تُسلِّم ولن تنكسر.

سقطت بعض مناطق تعز مؤقتًا، لا لأن أهلها عجزوا عن المقاومة، بل لأنهم تُركوا وحدهم في مواجهة ميليشيا الحوثي، وسط نقص السلاح والذخيرة والخذلان.
لكن الأرض التي قاومت سنوات لن تقبل الاحتلال، وتعز لا تطلب إلا ما يمكّن أبناءها من الدفاع عن تاريخهم وأهلهم وكرامتهم وعن الجمهورية.

القرى التي دخلها الحوثي لن تستسلم له؛ ليلها ونهارها سيتحولان إلى شعلة مقاومة، وسيقف أبناؤها وشبابها ومختلف مكوناتها صفًا واحدًا في وجهه. فهذه أرض ترفض الإمامة والغزاة، وأهلها متمسكون بحقهم في الحياة والحرية والجمهورية، ويرفضون حكم المليشيا، ويرفضون كل ما يُفرض عليهم بقوة السلاح.

ندعو الأشقاء في التحالف العربي بقيادة المملكة العربية السعودية إلى مواصلة الوقوف مع أهل تعز وقواتها ومقاومتها ومكوناتها السياسية، وتقديم كل أشكال الدعم والإسناد الذي تحتاجه في هذه المعركة، لحماية المواطنين، ودحر المليشيا الحوثية، واستعادة الدولة والجمهورية، وتحقيق الأمن لليمن والمملكة والمنطقة، وصون أمن الملاحة الدولية.

على الحوثي أن يفكر من الآن في خروجه من تعز، لا في دخوله إلى مزيد من قراها ومناطقها. فما قد يراه اليوم تقدمًا لن يغير حقيقة أن تعز لن تقبل به، وأن ثمن خروجه منها سيكون أضعاف ما دفعه ثمنًا لدخول بعض مناطقها. تعز قد تخسر موقعًا، لكنها لا تخسر إرادتها، ولن تكون أرضًا مستقرة لمليشيا الإمامة.

أعلن فخامة الرئيس الدكتور رشاد محمد العليمي، رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي، القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة، بدء العمليات العسكرية لاستعادة ما تبقى من أراضي الجمهورية، وبسط سلطة الدولة ومؤسساتها على كامل التراب الوطني، مؤكداً الانتقال من مرحلة الاستعداد والتهيئة، إلى مرحلة التحرير بعد استنفاد كل فرص التهدئة.
