Two airstrikes targeted, on Saturday, the home of the Houthi leader Ali Abdullah Ghalib Al-Same'i in the village of Al-Wadi in the sub-district of Shuraia, Sama'a Directorate in the countryside of Taiz, resulting in the killing of most of the Houthi leaders who were inside, according to a local source. The source explained that Al-Same'i is considered one of the leaders who helped bring the Houthi militia into the directorate, pointing out that the house contained a number of field leaders, among them (Aref Al-Basbas, Sultan Al-Kalb, and Muhammad Al-Saghir), alongside other leaders from outside Taiz Governorate. He added that the bodies of the dead were recovered, while a number of wounded Houthis were transported outside the directorate.
استهدفت غارتان جويتان، السبت، منزل القيادي الحوثي علي عبدالله غالب السامعي في قرية الوادي بعزلة شريع مديرية سامع بريف تعز، ما أسفر عن مقتل معظم القيادات الحوثية التي كانت بداخله، وفق مصدر محلي.
وأوضح المصدر أن السامعي يُعد من القيادات التي أسهمت في إدخال مليشيا الحوثي إلى المديرية، مشيرا إلى أن المنزل كان يضم عددا من القيادات الميدانية، بينهم (عارف البسباس وسلطان الكلب ومحمد الصغير)، إلى جانب قيادات أخرى من خارج محافظة تعز.
وأضاف أن جثامين القتلى انتُشلت، فيما نُقل عدد من الجرحى الحوثيين إلى خارج المديرية.
