Taiz Axis shifts from defense to offense as part of Operation Dawn of Yemen and inflicts heavy losses on the Houthis Taiz Axis forces, backed by the popular resistance, announced their shift from defense to offense across several combat fronts as part of Operation Dawn of Yemen, confirming field advances and inflicting heavy losses on the Houthi militia over the past 24 hours. According to the media center's briefing on field developments in the Taiz Axis fronts on Monday, the axis forces carried out five offensive operations covering the Al-Arbaeen fronts north of Taiz city, Al-Aqroodh to the south, Al-Anin and Jabal Habashi to the west, and the Al-Bayreen area on the outskirts of the Al-Kadaha front. According to field data provided by the center, the Houthi militia suffered about 100 dead and 150 wounded during the operations, while the forces were able to shoot down five drones and destroy and disable six military vehicles and a tank. The center noted that the militia's ranks are experiencing a state of retreat and exposure coinciding with the launch of Operation Dawn of Yemen, and what it described as successes and advances achieved by the Armed Forces in several governorates. On the Al-Aqroodh front, Taiz Axis forces said that, with the support of the popular resistance, they drove the Houthi militia out of several positions following an attack launched on Monday afternoon, confirming the destruction of a tank and an armored vehicle and the seizure of a military vehicle, in addition to leaving a number of militia personnel dead and wounded. On the Al-Anin front in Jabal Habashi Directorate, west of Taiz, the axis forces launched a swift attack on Houthi positions, inflicting casualties and equipment losses in their ranks. As for the Al-Bayreen area on the Al-Kadaha front, the forces carried out a swift attack targeting Houthi gatherings and equipment, resulting in the burning of a military vehicle, the killing of several operatives, and the capture of others. The Jabal Habashi fronts witnessed a series of offensive operations carried out by Taiz Axis forces supported by the popular resistance across several contact zones, during which they achieved advances in some positions coinciding with the flight of several militia operatives. The center confirmed that military operations are still ongoing in various areas of Jabal Habashi amid broad popular rallying around the Armed Forces and resistance. On the rest of the Taiz Axis fronts, intermittent clashes took place, punctuated by artillery shelling targeting militia gatherings, vehicles, and weapons, including Houthi gatherings at the Sanaa terminal east of the city, a military vehicle at Al-Tabba Al-Sawda on the Al-Dhabab front west of Taiz, and another military vehicle on the western front, in addition to targeting a Houthi tank in Softel northeast of Taiz.
