The operation came following the announcement by the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, of the transition from the preparation phase to direct military action, after wide Houthi escalation during September. The Bab al-Mandab–Dhubab–Mokha axis emerged as the main center of gravity for operations, coinciding with movements on the Taiz fronts and airstrikes by the Coalition targeting Houthi positions and supply lines. According to the assessment, the course of operations reveals a Saudi shift from a policy of containing the Houthi threat to an attempt to eliminate one of its direct geographic sources. Securing the Western Coast and Bab al-Mandab takes on particular importance as it serves as a vital corridor for international maritime navigation. The assessment notes that one of the strategic dimensions of the operation lies in preventing the emergence of a maritime equation linking the straits of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab, which would grant Iran, through its Houthi allies, simultaneous ability to influence the two most critical maritime corridors surrounding the Arabian Gulf. The assessment points out that cooperation within the Mecca Defense Alliance between Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan has moved from a political framework to practical military support for Yemeni forces with equipment and advisory assistance without direct combat participation. The assessment concludes that the decisive test will not merely be in the speed of advancement, but in the ability to consolidate gains and translate military momentum into a sustainable political and institutional transformation that reinforces the presence of the state and alters the balances of the conflict.

🔥Multi-front battle: forces advance and the Houthis suffer losses on several fronts 🔥 The armed forces, backed by the popular resistance, warplanes, and aircraft of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, announced achieving advances on several fronts and combat axes in different governorates as part of Operation Dawn of Yemen, which was launched on Monday. Meanwhile, the Armed Forces Media Center reported that the Houthi militia, designated as a terrorist group, suffered human and material losses during the clashes, amidst the continuation of operations aimed at restoring state institutions. On the western coast, the center mentioned that the Giants Brigades and the Homeland Shield Forces, supported by airstrikes, tightened their control over positions and areas in Bab al-Mandab, Dhubab airport, Al-Amri camp, and the city of Mokha in Taiz governorate, coinciding with the continued advance toward Al-Khawkhah district in Hodeidah governorate. It pointed out that the clashes left dead and wounded among the ranks of the Houthis, in addition to the capture of a number of their elements, without disclosing a numerical toll of the losses. In the western countryside of Taiz governorate, the center reported that the armed forces managed to recapture positions and areas where Houthi elements had infiltrated, confirming that dead and wounded fell and a number of militia members were captured, while others fled the clash areas. As for Marib, the armed forces announced the launch of a military operation across several axes on the southern and northwestern fronts. According to the media center, the forces recaptured and secured positions on the southern front, while continuing their movement toward the Umm Reesh camp, coinciding with the execution of artillery shelling that struck Houthi positions and gatherings in Qurun al-Bur and the vicinity of the camp. On the northwestern front in the same governorate, the center spoke of taking control of several positions in Sailat Raghwan, noting the death of more than 14 Houthi elements and the injury of others, according to the military narrative. The center also reported carrying out airstrikes on positions and vehicles belonging to the Houthis in scattered areas, explaining that the bombardment led, according to announced information, to the destruction of a weapons depot in the Haylan mountains, alongside transport vehicles that were loaded with ammunition on the Raghwan front. The published statements did not include independent information through which the scale of the losses announced by the armed forces could be verified or the extent of change that occurred to the contact lines measured, nor did the statement include a response from the Houthi militia regarding the field developments announced by the government forces.

So beware, beware lest he deceive you with that, for if he gains power over you he will not show you mercy. How could he not, when he has shown no mercy to his own people? For the Houthis' prisons are filled with the tortured, and the entire populace is groaning because of them, so do not have mercy on them. For their nature is evasion and hypocrisy; that is how they acted in their previous wars: when they collapsed, they demanded reconciliation to prepare anew, then they betrayed and attacked. When they grew weak, they demanded reconciliation once more. This is their habit in all their wars with others, until that ill-fated revolution came in 2011, weakened the state, and empowered them. Our Sheikh Yahya al-Hajuri, may Allah preserve him, denounced those who reconciled with them, wondering how they could reconcile with treacherous, betraying, wicked people, comparing them to snakes and uttering that famous statement: "Whom are you reconciling with? You are reconciling with snakes!" Whoever reconciles with a snake, it will start with him first. So my counsel to you, O tribes of honor and dignity, and O leaders of Yemen and the Coalition—and it is a counsel to every Muslim—is not to accept reconciliation with this cunning, treacherous, wicked faction. Reconciliation with the Jews, Christians, and polytheists is possible, but as for these people, reconciliation with them comes only from the muzzles of rifles.
