════════════════ 🔴 "❖ An Introduction to the Sects of the Shia ❖" • ════ •⊰❂⊱• ════ 📖 It is stated in the book "Foundations of the Twelver Imami Shia Sect" (1/90_98): 🔹 The books of heresiography and sects are replete with mentions of the Shia sects and factions. After the death of each Imam among the Shia, new sects appear, and each faction adopts its own doctrine regarding the designation of the Imam, distinguishing itself with certain beliefs and views from other factions, claiming that it is the faction on the truth. 🔸 This division and splintering was a subject of complaint and discontent from the Shia themselves. One of the Shia said to his Imam, as recorded in Rijal al-Kashshi: May Allah make me your ransom, what is this disagreement among your Shia? He said: And what disagreement? He replied: I sit in their circles in Kufa, and I almost doubt because of their disagreements in their reports. Abu Abdullah said: Yes, it is as you have stated. People have become devoted to lying about us. I narrate a report to one of them, and he does not leave my presence before interpreting it contrary to its interpretation. That is because they do not seek what is with Allah through our reports and our love; rather, they seek the world, and each of them loves to be called a leader. 📌 This text proves that the love of leadership and the transient goods of the world were behind the Shiism of many, and that these people were devoted to lying about the Ahl al-Bayt, which is why disagreement and splintering multiplied. 🔹 Al-Mas'udi, who was a Shiite, mentioned that the Shia sects reached seventy-three sects, each sect declaring the others to be disbelievers. For this reason, the Rafidi Mir Baqir al-Damad claimed: that the sects mentioned in the hadith of the division of the Ummah into seventy-three sects are the sects of the Shia, and that the saved sect among them is his Imami faction. As for the Ahl al-Sunnah, the Mu'tazilah, and others among the rest of the sects, he placed them among the Ummah of invitation—meaning they are not of the Ummah of response—so in his creed, they have not entered into Islam. 📚 This doctrine was previously articulated by the Shia, and Al-Shahrastani and Al-Razi pointed that out. 🔸 It is stated in the Encyclopedia that the sub-sects of the Shia that emerged far exceed the well-known seventy-two sects, while Al-Maqrizi mentions that the Shia sects reached three hundred sects. 🟠 The cause of this divergence is mostly their disagreement concerning the Imams from the Ahl al-Bayt. They take various paths regarding the identities of the Imams, their number, stopping at one of them and awaiting him, or proceeding to another and asserting his Imamate, in addition to the secondary matters they diverged on or the interpretations they contested. Therefore, the prominent scholar Ibn Khaldun said, after citing their disagreement regarding the designation of the Imams: "And this great divergence indicates the absence of an explicit divine text." 🔹 *"Meaning it indicates that they have no standing in their claim that the Messenger ﷺ explicitly designated Ali and the other Imams, for had it been from Allah, this divergence and discrepancy would not exist. But since they found much contradiction, it was among the greatest proofs of the absence of a valid explicit text,"* as the Exalted said:
"And if it had been from other than Allah, they would surely have found within it much contradiction"
[Surah An-Nisa: 82]. 🟢 *"And the matter of the Imamate to them is the foundation of religion, so disagreement is not acceptable in it, as it is accepted in secondary branches."* 🔸 The prominent scholar of the Zaidi Shia in his time, Ahmad bin Yahya al-Murtada (d. 840 AH), considered the Shia's disagreement upon the death of each Imam regarding who would succeed him as the clearest evidence refuting the explicit text they claim. 📚 If we refer to the books of sects—or others—that mentioned the Shia factions, we find differences among them regarding the origins from which the many and varied types of Shia sects branched out. ✦ Al-Jahiz holds that the Shia are two sects: the Zaidiyyah and the Rafida. He says: Know, may Allah have mercy on you, that the Shia are two men: a Zaidi and a Rafidi, and the rest of them are substitutes with no coherent order. The Shia scholar Al-Mufid adopts this division and says: The Shia are two men: an Imami and a Zaidi.

📖 جاء في كتاب «أصول مذهب الشيعة الإمامية الاثني عشرية»(٩٠/١_٩٨)
🔹 حُفلت كتب المقالات والفِرَق بذكر فِرَق الشيعة وطوائفهم، فبعد وفاة كل إمام من الأئمة عند الشيعة تظهر فِرَق جديدة، وكل طائفة تذهب في تعيين الإمام مذهبًا خاصًّا بها.. وتنفرِد ببعض العقائد والآراء عن الطوائف الأخرى، وتدّعي أنها هي الطائفة المُحِقَّة.
🔸 وهذا الاختلاف والتفرّق كان محل شكوى وتذمّر من الشيعة نفسها، قال أحد الشيعة لإمامه كما في رجال الكشي: جعلني الله فداك، ما هذا الاختلاف الذي بين شيعتكم؟ قال: وأيُّ اختلاف؟ فقال: إني لأجلس في حلقهم بالكوفة فأكاد أشك في اختلافهم في حديثهم.. فقال أبو عبد الله: أجل هو كما ذكرت، إن الناس أوْلَعوا بالكذب علينا، وإني أحدث أحدهم بالحديث، فلا يخرج من عندي، حتى يتأوله على غير تأويله، وذلك أنهم لا يطلبون بحديثنا وبحبنا ما عند الله، وإنما يطلبون الدنيا، وكل يحب أن يُدعى رأسًا.
📌 فيدل هذا النص على أن حب الرياسة، ومتاع الدنيا الزائل كان وراء تشيع الكثيرين، وأن هؤلاء أولعوا بالكذب على آل البيت.. ولهذا كثر الخلاف والتفرق.
🔹 وقد ذكر المسعودي وهو شيعي: أن فرق الشيعة بلغت ثلاثًا وسبعين فرقة، وكل فرقة تكفّر الأخرى، ولهذا زعم الرافضي مير باقر الداماد: أن الفرق المذكورة في حديث افتراق الأمة إلى ثلاث وسبعين فرقة هي فرق الشيعة، وأن الناجية منها هي طائفته الإمامية، وأما أهل السنة والمعتزلة وغيرهم من سائر الفرق فجعلهم من أمة الدعوة، أي ليسوا من أمة الإجابة، فهم في اعتقاده لم يدخلوا في الإسلام.
📚 وهذه المقالة قد قالها الشيعة من قبل وأشار إلى ذلك الشهرستاني، والرازي.
🔸 وقد ورد في دائرة المعارف: أنه ظهر من فروع الفرق الشيعية ما يزيد كثيرًا عن الفرق الاثنتين والسبعين فرقة المشهورة، بينما يذكر المقريزي أن فرق الشيعة بلغت ثلاثمائة فرقة.
🟠 ومَرَدُّ هذا الاختلاف في الغالب هو اختلافهم حول الأئمة من آل البيت، فيذهبون مذاهب شتى في أعيان الأئمة، وفي عددهم، وفي الوقف على أحدهم وانتظاره، أو المضي إلى آخر والقول بإمامته.. فضلًا عما تباينوا فيه من التفريع أو تنازعوا فيه من التأويل، ولهذا قال العلامة ابن خلدون بعدما ساق اختلافهم في تعيين الأئمة: وهذا الاختلاف العظيم يدل على عدم النص.
🔹 *"أي يدل على أنهم ليسوا على شيء فيما ذهبوا إليه من دعوى أن الرسول ﷺ نصَّ على عليٍّ والأئمة الآخرين.. إذ لو كان من عند الله لما كان هذا الاختلاف والتباين، ولكن لما وجدوا اختلافًا كثيرًا كان من أعظم الأدلة على عدم وجود نص صحيح"* كما قال تعالى:
﴿وَلَوْ كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ غَيْرِ اللَّهِ لَوَجَدُوا فِيهِ اخْتِلَافًا كَثِيرًا﴾
[سورة النساء: 82].
🟢 "وأمر الإمامة عندهم هو أصل الدين، فلا يقبل فيها الخلاف، كما يقبل في الفروع."
🔸 وقد عدَّ شيخ الشيعة الزيدية في زمنه أحمد بن يحيى المرتضى (المتوفى سنة 840هـ) اختلاف الشيعة عند موت كل إمام في القائم بعده أوضح دليل على إبطال ما يدّعون من النص.
📚 وإذا رجعنا إلى كتب الفرق – أو غيرها _التي ذكرت طوائف الشيعة، فإننا نجد بينها اختلافًا في الأصول التي انبثقت منها صنوف الفرق الشيعية الكثيرة والمختلفة.
✦ فالجاحظ يرى أن الشيعة فرقتان: الزيدية والرافضة؛ يقول: اعلم رحمك الله أن الشيعة رجلان: زيدي، ورافضي، وبقيتهم بدلًا لا نظام لهم. ويأخذ بهذا التقسيم شيخ الشيعة المفيد، ويقول: بأن الشيعة رجلان: إمامي، وزيدي.
