However, one must employ the worldly causes without placing total reliance upon them. Likewise, uniting the word, closing ranks, rejecting division, partisanship, and demoralization, and purging the armies of traitors, agents, and hypocrites. Let us rejoice in the promise of a great victory and a clear conquest, by the leave of Allah, Lord of the worlds. 👌Let us shun sins, acts of disobedience, innovations, superstitions, polytheistic practices, and the like, for this is what has delayed victory, and this is the reason why the enemies gained power and dominion over the Muslims; the proofs for this are too numerous to count. 👈Fourth: Battles require deliberation, preparations, logistics, and planning, because their fuel is people and wealth, so haste does not serve them well. An hour of haste may delay victory by days or years.
